HESTON BLUMENTHAL IN HONG KONG AND SINGAPORE - MAY 2012

Heston Blumenthal has accepted Lateral Marketing’s invitation to visit Hong Kong and Singapore in May 2012 for a series of exclusive corporate events.

Heston will share his unique philosophy and approach to cooking, exploring taste and flavour and his passion for the multi-sensory experience of eating and drinking.

Through extraordinary photography and TV clips, Heston will take audiences on a journey through the creation and techniques of some of his most famous Fat Duck signature dishes - Snail Porridge, Mock Turtle Soup or Sound of the Sea, which features seafood and edible seaweed on a bed of sand-like tapioca - all washed down with the sound of breaking waves.

Bringing Heston to Asia is one of the ways Lateral provides unique money-can’t-buy event experiences, and follows a hugely successful series of events with Heston in Australia.

Heston Blumenthal is the chef and owner of The Fat Duck, the three Michelin-starred restaurant in the village of Bray in England. The Fat Duck has been voted Best Restaurant in the world and is currently considered the best restaurant in Britain by the UK’s prestigious Good Food Guide.

Heston’s newest restaurant in Knightsbridge London, Dinner by Heston Blumenthal, which opened in January 2011 was awarded its first Michelin Star after just nine months of operation.
